Les Vernettes Chapel                            2½ hours One-way                          Elevation gain: 695 m
A family walk to discover one of the most beautiful baroque sanctuaries of the Tarentaise region perched in a glacial cirque overlooked by the Aiguille Grive (2732 m), the Aiguille Rousse (2488 m) and the summit of Aliet (3109 m).

La Balme Mountain Hut                                  1¼ hours One-way                          Elevation gain: 345 m
A lovely walk to the foot of the Pierra Menta. This mountain hut is open from mid-June to mid-September.

Le Monal                                                  1¾ hours One-way                          Elevation gain: 299 m
A delightful walk, but very busy in July and August. The chance to discover a typical hamlet at the foot of the Gurraz and Mont Pourri (3779 m) glaciers.

La Plagne Lake                                    2¾ hours One-way                          Elevation gain: 580 m
A rather long but easy walk which offers superb views throughout. As a result this route is very busy in summer.

Le Lac sans Fond (Bottomless Lake)                        1hr 20 One-way                          Elevation gain: 303 m
This walk which reaches the Italian border offers a lovely view of the Alpine pastures which produce Beaufort cheese.

The Versoye Face                                  1½ hours One-way                          Elevation gain: 213 m
A pretty walk alongside the Versoyen which crosses through forests, meadows and villages perched on the slope

Les Deux Têtes                                            1 hour One-way                              Elevation gain: 654 m
A circular walk through the forest of Malgovert. Beautiful views over the Haute-Tarentaise, the Roignaix massif (2995 m), the Petit St-Bernard pass, the peaks of Le Clapet (2615 m) and Lancebranlette (2936 m).

Saint Michel Chapel                              1½ hours One-way                          Elevation gain: 533 m**
A short walk offering panoramic views over the whole valley - the resort of Les Arcs, Peisey-Nancroix, Montchavin / Les Coches and the Mont Pourri and Bellecôte chain.
