Les Vernettes Chapel                    2½ hours  One-way            Elevation gain: 165 m

A family walk to discover one of the most beautiful baroque sanctuaries of the Tarentaise region perched in a glacial cirque overlooked by the Aiguille Grive (2732m), the Aiguille Rousse (2488 m) and the summit of Aliet (3109 m).

La Sassière Valley                        1hour  One-way                Elevation gain: 180 m

During this walk you will have the chance to admire the marmots and with the help of your binoculars are likely to catch a glimpse of some chamois and ibex goats. This path is accessible to pushchairs and wheelchairs if you stick to the outward route.

Séez along the marsh trail                1 hour One-way                Elevation gain: 90 m

A walk between Bourg Saint-Maurice and Séez through the forest of Le Marais. Information signs along the route explain the ecosystem: the marsh, the reed marsh, the birds, the ever-changing “ubac”, or north-facing slope, the poplar forest, etc

Aime along the cycle path                    2½ hours One-way            Elevation gain: 179 m

Walk along the banks of the Isère on a pedestrian path, ideal for roller skating or cycling and accessible to pushchairs.

Rochefleur Rock                    1 hour One-way                Elevation gain: 70 m

A lovely walk along the mountainside, passing though forests and clearings, with the reward of superb views down on to the village of Séez and the resort of La Rosière. This rock is equipped for climbing.

Notre Dame de Tout Pouvoir                2½ hour circular walk      Elevation gain: 100 m

A family walk, along a mountainside trail, overlooking the Isère, with panoramic views over the villages of the “Versant du Soleil”.
